Spare Release Shaft 41ASWG-0440SA for LiftMaster LA400 / LA412 operator

We've already replaced one actuator to the tune of $500. I'm pretty sure this part was the culprit last time. Watched a YouTube video on installation. Easy to do. Quick delivery. I'll be ordering a spare, since I am convinced the brass worm gear is the weak point in the system and prone to wear.

My LA400 gate opener was having difficulty opening my gate. It was starting and stopping when opening, and making sounds like gears were being jumped. I removed it and opened the case. I saw that a lot of the white grease had turned black, like metal/plastic gear bits were mixed in. I ordered the Spare Release Shaft, installed it, and now the opener works perfectly.
