The LiftMaster LA500CONTUL Standard Control Box should be mounted within 5 feet of the gate operator in the highest position possible for best radio reception. Box comes loaded with LiftMaster Generation 3 control board which was introduced in January 2016. This control board is burgundy and is compatible with the LiftMaster LA500 arm that is charcoal gray with a burgundy stripe. It has a two digit LED display with spots to plug in the arms. The Generation 3 Control Board is also MYQ compatible. It must have compatible photo eyes connected for this board to operate.
